Volunteers are the movers and shakers that drive FloridaACE. The association offers its members several ways to get involved, grow your network and strengthen your professional skills. We count on volunteers to grow FloridaACE and help accomplish the organization’s goals.  If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please view the committee descriptions below and complete the volunteer form.

Committees 

 Annual Conference: The Annual Conference Committee coordinates all aspects of the annual conference and is responsible for the program of the annual meeting. This committee is chaired by the Vice President.

Communications and MarketingTo increase membership engagement on social media platforms. This committee will contribute to membership retention through consistent communication and marketing and coordinate and maintain active FloridaACE marketing and communications calendar. To identify new and innovative ways to engage and strengthen communication among the membership.  This committee is chaired by the Communications & Marketing Director.

Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, & Belonging: To provide a space for FloridaACE members that fosters diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging in all that we do as an association.  Committee members will work with the DEIB Directors to define the purpose and strategic goals of the committee.This committee is co-chaired by the College DEIB Director and Employer DEIB Director. 

Information and Technology: The Information and Technology Committee shall be chaired by the Information Management Director and coordinates reporting, technology, and related services for the organization.

Membership Engagement: Purpose is to retain membership engagement, increase member retainment, and increase event attendance. This committee is chaired by the Membership Engagement Director.

Professional DevelopmentThe Professional Development Committee is chaired by the Professional Development Director and coordinates all phases of planning professional development programs for the association. Members of this committee help to select the programs that are delivered at our Annual Conference and help to coordinate the annual Drive-In Conference each year. This committee also helps select webinars and other educational programs for delivery year-round and manages the Affinity Group program. Consider joining this committee if you have an interest in helping your colleagues become the best they can be!
