Professional Development Scholarship

FloridaACE is offering Professional Development Scholarships to our career services professional, student, and employer membership. Up to two scholarships will be awarded to provide/cover registration fees to attend the FloridaACE Annual Conference.

Applications will be accepted in conjunction with the Annual FloridaACE Awards process. Scholarship recipients will be notified in advanced of the early-bird conference registration deadline. Recipients will be recognized at the FloridaACE Annual Conference. 

Deadline to Nominate: April 12, 2024 for 2024 FloridaACE Annual Conference

Winners of the scholarship(s) will be determined by the FloridaACE Awards Committee. 

Scholarships must be applied to the subsequent FloridaACE conference. The FloridaACE Board and Award Committee Members are not eligible to receive the Scholarship. 

An active FloridaACE membership is required. Only career services professionals, students, and employer members are eligible for the Professional Development Scholarship.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Preference will be given to individuals with:

a. Aspirations of becoming a leader in the career development or college recruiting field.

b. Whose organization has not had a recipient of the scholarship in the past two years.

c. Demonstrated financial need for the scholarship.

d. Involvement or participation in FloridaACE events, committees, affinity groups, and/or programming.

e. Completed application materials which include (at minimum) one letter of recommendation from a leader within the career development or college recruiting/university relations field.
