Myrna P. Hoover Lifetime Impact Award

The Myrna P. Hoover Lifetime Impact Award was established by the Florida Association of Colleges & Employers in 2022 in recognition of Myrna P. Hoover's three decades of service to career services including the significant impact she made on our organization and the profession in the state of Florida.

Eligibility

• Worked in the field of career services/university relations/talent acquisition for at least 15 years
• Member of FloridaACE for at least five years
• Current officers and board members are not eligible 

Basis for Selection

• Emphasis for selection will be placed on significant and lasting contributions to FloridaACE and/or the profession of career services/university relations/talent acquisition
• An active member of FloridaACE who contributed to the forward momentum of the association through the development of programs or special initiatives and/or has contributed in a noble way to the development of the profession
• Represented the Association in an exemplary manner with a special emphasis on the impact made on the Association and its members
• Members of the selection committee are not eligible to nominate

Nomination Procedure

• Submit an online nomination form (upload resume and/or include a link to the nominee's LinkedIn profile with the application)
• Two letters of support

Award

The recipient of the Myrna P. Hoover Lifetime Impact Award is announced during the Recognition Luncheon at the Annual Conference in June. Recipients become Lifetime Members of FloridaACE and receive a crystal award and a $500 donation toward the organization of their choice.
